What overnight at Atlas Paws looks like

ARRIVAL

Drop off, get settled

Bring your dog's food, bedding, and anything that smells like home. We do a slow intro to the space and the other dogs, with photo updates so you know they've arrived safely.

DAY & NIGHT

Play, rest, supervised sleep

Group play, walks, and downtime during the day. At night, dogs settle into their group room or private suite. Staff stay on-site 24/7 — there's never a time when no one's there.

PICKUP

Tired, happy, home

A recap of how they slept, ate, and got along with their group. You'll have already seen photos throughout the stay — pickup just confirms what you've been watching.

Good to know

What vaccinations does my dog need?

Up-to-date DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. We also strongly recommend Canine Influenza for boarding stays. Bring vaccination records on your first visit, or have your vet email them ahead of time.

Do I need to do daycare before boarding?

Yes. Every dog starts with a complimentary 2-hour temperament evaluation at our daycare. It's how we make sure your dog will be comfortable and safe in our space before booking an overnight stay.

What should I bring for an overnight stay?

Bring your dog's regular food (pre-portioned per meal if possible), any medications, and an old t-shirt that smells like home. We provide everything else — bowls, water, beds, treats, and lots of attention.

Can you give my dog medication?

Yes — our staff are trained to administer oral medications, eye drops, and topical treatments at no extra cost. Mention any medications when you book so we can prepare.

What if my dog has special needs or anxiety?

Our 100% Fear Free® certified team is trained to work with anxious, senior, and special-needs dogs. The temperament evaluation helps us understand what your dog needs — whether that's a private suite, slower group introductions, or extra one-on-one time during the stay.

Are there surcharges for holidays or long weekends?

A 20% surcharge applies on long weekends across all services. Spadina is open every day of the year, including major holidays. Liberty Village and Corktown are closed on holidays.
