What a grooming visit looks like
CONSULTATION
We get to know your dog
Before any clippers come out, we talk about your dog's breed, coat, sensitivities, and what cut you have in mind. New dogs get extra time to settle in and meet the groomer. Senior dogs and nervous pups always get a slower, gentler intro.
THE GROOM
Bath, cut, nails, finish
Warm bath with breed-appropriate shampoo, careful drying, breed-specific cut, nail trim, and ear cleaning. Spa add-ons (paw balm, blueberry facial, teeth brushing) on request. Breaks anytime your dog needs one.
PICKUP
Fresh, finished, ready to go
Pickup is quick — a fresh-smelling, photo-ready dog and a quick recap of how the groom went. If anything needs adjusting, we'll fix it before you walk out the door. Never a charge for touch-ups.

Good to know
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks in advance for standard appointments, four to six weeks for holiday seasons and high-demand weekends. Same-week availability sometimes opens up — call us to check.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
A full groom typically takes 2 to 3 hours depending on your dog's size and coat condition. Bath & Tidy and Bath & Nails are usually 1 to 2 hours. We don't rush — your dog stays with us only as long as the groom needs.
What if my dog is matted?
Matting happens, and we don't shame anyone for it. For light matting, we'll work through it gently. For severe matting, the most humane option is usually a shorter cut to start fresh — we'll always discuss the plan with you before any clippers come out.
Can you groom my anxious or reactive dog?
Yes — our 100% Fear Free® certified groomers specialize in working with anxious, reactive, and sensitive dogs. We use breaks, gentle handling, and slow introductions. Tell us about your dog's specific triggers when you book so we can prepare.
Do I need to do daycare or boarding to use grooming?
No — grooming is a standalone service. You can book grooming on its own without ever using daycare or boarding. (That said, dogs already familiar with our space tend to be more relaxed for their first groom.)
What vaccinations does my dog need for grooming?
Up-to-date DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. Bring vaccination records on your first visit, or have your vet email them ahead of time.
